Q: Hi Terah,

I am submitting my questions and project. I’ve included a photo of the building plan. The original house is the carport, garage three bedrooms on left side and half of the living area. We are adding more living space, bigger kitchen, pool, separate guest suite, more storage, master suite and utility as well as “tower room” entry from carport. More storage is needed due to husband’s massive record collection and that he is a packrat. My question is – What are the best Feng Shui cures to incorporate as we build?

Feng Shui as a Cure for Nightmares?

Q: Good Morning Terah, my daughter feels that one of the boys has nightmares and his bed is the one next to closet door (picture # 3). I thought he has a lot of “poison arrows” at him – more so than the other baby.

Would you have any suggestions?

Q: Dear Terah,

I have had your book “Room by Room” for years but have not (until now) had the drive to get serious about Feng Shui. Or maybe I should say “get playful” about it!  I’m already way to serious! I have a question about using Essential Feng Shui to help me with a chronic health problem.

Q & A – Feng Shui a Hotel Room

Q: Terah, My family is taking a trip for Summer Vacation.  Can we “Feng Shui” our hotel room? E.K., MN

A: Absolutely. Start by asking lots of questions and be specific! Find out where highways and neighbors are around your vacation spot, and what attractions are within easy walking distance. Consider how far or near you’d like to be to noise-makers such as restaurants, bars, pools, ice and soda machines, elevators, and so on.

Feng Shui Q & A: Refrigerator Dilemma

Posted by on Apr 4, 2011 in Feng Shui Kitchen, Q & A | 3 comments

Q:   I want to ask a question about fridge placement in my office in Istanbul; according to western Feng Shui, it will be in the Helpful People area.  I haven’t put a fridge there yet, but I  need one.  I’m afraid that placement would affect my income, etc. Do you have any suggestions as a remedy?

A: It sounds like the fridge will be very helpful to you and therefore a symbol of helpful energies flowing in your life. As with all things, keep it clean and uncluttered so that every time you use it you are happy and grateful it is there. You may enjoy enhancing it with images of people and/or places that you consider to be absolutely heavenly, as the Helpful People and Travel Bagua Map area is related to Heaven!

I cover the Bagua Map in my Western Guide to Feng Shui books, which you can check out at Amazon.com and in my online Bagua Map course  on the WSFS website.

Enjoy your Feng Shui Adventures!

Every Blessing,

Terah Kathryn Collins
