Essential Feng Shui Tips: Live with What You Love

Posted by on Sep 17, 2014 in Essential Feng Shui Tips, Inner Feng Shui | Comments Off on Essential Feng Shui Tips: Live with What You Love

One of the most powerful actions you can take is to live with what you love. The more you can do this, the better. Look through your Feng Shui eyes as you design, furnish, and arrange your home, and decide whether you truly love your choices. Save yourself from the plethora of poor designs by being thoughtful, creative, and downright picky. Choose what you love, even when it’s not what a design magazine suggests. When you have to settle for or live with something you don’t love, lift its energy by placing something nearby that makes your heart sing. For instance, I lived with a gray couch for a while that was not my favorite color. Posted by on Sep 8, 2014 in Essential Feng Shui Tips, Inner Feng Shui | Comments Off on Essential Feng Shui Tips: Put Safety and Comfort First

Consider safety and comfort first when designing, furnishing, and arranging your home. Many people sit all day in lovely chairs that do not fit the contours of their bodies. When beautiful pieces of furniture have sharp corners or detailing, they don’t pass the Feng Shui safety test. The prolific use of sharp angles in architecture can subvert our instinctual need for comfort and safety. Most of us have gotten so used to discomfort that we hardly notice it anymore. In fact, in Feng Shui, insisting on your environmental comfort and safety becomes crucial to the balance and harmony of your entire life.  And as you design your home to be comfortable and safe, a new kind of beauty is born, turning your home into a deeply welcoming, healing, and sensual place to be.

The Golden Triangle, part 2
By Terah Kathryn Collins, Founder and Instructor

Your heart, the sanctuary of heaven and earth, is the home of your true self. As you open your heart, the wonder and majesty of life expands. Your spirit sheds any dark cloud of amnesia and you soar once again into the eternal expanses of your imagination. Your body awakens from the anesthesia of the past, transforming numbness into streams of pleasure. The voices of your senses become crystal clear, guiding you to further joy. Reunited once again with the full circle of life, your heart becomes the enchanted abode where heaven and earths’ beloved offspring – you – can thrive.
