Feng Shui Definitions: Ch’i

Ch’i means “vital energy.” Everything is alive with Ch’i, Everything is connected by Ch’i, and the Ch’i in everything is always changing. Seeing the world as a dynamic, ever-changing “Sea of Ch’i” helps us understand why Feng Shui promotes the building and enhancing of vital Ch’i flow in our homes. We do this by arranging our furniture and possessions in specific ways, living with what we love, and adopting designs that promote safety and comfort. We also simplify and thoroughly organize our environment to encourage clarity and creative self-expression. We know we’ve struck the ideal Ch’i chord in our homes when we are experiencing happy, healthy, and prosperous lives.
