Hope Line

I want to share with you a really cool idea a friend of mine has put into action. It’s called the Hope Hotline.

Every day, there’s a brief new message about hope that you can listen to and then leave a message in return, if you like. I think the plan is to compile the messages for a year and see what marvelous material there is on the subject, for a book, a movie….who knows?

Anyway, there’s a new “ambassador of hope” each week, and this week its me! So please call. Hope is actually a much more fascinating subject than I had imagined; and I’d love to have your thoughts as part of the project.

Here’ the number: 1-212-714-HOPE (4673) This is a wonderfully low-tech endeavor…an answering service, so when I’m done speaking you’ll hear a tone and can leave a message (what a relief, eh?)
